24 Mar 09 "A Trip Away"

...even if it was only for a couple of hours, it was TOTALLY worth getting the hance to get off the base and a taste of *home* with a trip to the local mall and toursit spot, the Kuwait Towers...we enjoyed REAL food, from TGI Friday's and I had steak and it was EXCELLENT {I am so missing those grilled steaks we do at home}...and I treated myself to a chocolate covered Krispy Kreme {and YES they had a real Krispy Creme in Kuwait}...I splurged and bought a very cute dress for our trip to Vegas and bought a few other things {a belt, bag and some foot stuff from the Body Shop}...and YES they have a Body Shop here as well :) so here are a few pics, and I will try to share some more later, I sent most of them via email :) and by the way, my motivated spinning instructor convinced me to go to the gym tonight...no pain no gain :) 45 mins on the eliptical, 500 calories :)by the way, she is the blonde beauty in the picture with me below :) so here is back to REALITY and the wonderful desert sand :( but just puts me one day closer to home :) nite nite :)
