31 Aug 09 We OFFICIALLY...

...have 2 boys and 2 girls!!!!!!!!!













Abby got a little bang trim and then Peyton was willing to sit on the table for a "haircut"...Matt trimmed a few curls {of coarse for me to save!!!!] and then he got out the clippers! and Peyton actually enjoyed getting a "haircut" and liked when Matt sprayed the canned air in his face to get the hair out of his eyes! And then they were ready for the bath! SO it is OFFICIAL Peyton is a boy!!!!


Kim Note: I missed you at work today because I wanted to hear about all of your fun! So I will be ctaching up with you tomorrow!!! Hope you are making preps for our trip next year!!

30 Aug 09 Another Weekend Gone

and back to work tomorrow! nothing really exciting this weekend....sam started her little training to be part of the link crew for school today..the juniors and seniors welcome and orient the freshman before school starts..what I didn't know is she had to be recommended by a teacher to do this, so that is pretty kewl...

Ben had a sleepover and we let him have 2 friends spend the night and they had a blast hanging out and I am pretty sure they had a pillow fight by the looks of Ben's room the next mroning!

Abby pooped in the toliet all day today...so hopefully she will keep it up...she gets pretty excited eah time she does it!

So I put Abby's clothes on today and then later she realizes that the zipper is not zipped up on her shorts, she then proceeds to come over to me and says "pay attention to what you are doing!"....

so to get me up today Matt send Abby and Peyton in to get me up and lets them jump on the bed!!! they don't just jump ON the bed, they jump on ME!!!! and they are all about roughhousing even at 9 in the morning!!!!

got a text from Kim on Friday and she won big on her 3rd pull at Ceasar's Palace!!! Told her to put it away for our trip to Vegas next year :) Hope she had fun and enjoyed her little vacation with no kids...

Kim Note: I hope you scoped it out and are planning to make preps for our trip to Vegas next year....only person left to make sure they are in is Connie, so start planning sister!!! I have already started a Vegas trip jar!

27 Aug 09 My Last 30 Something b-day!...

..and it was pretty sweet...we had our command picnic today and it was a GREAT day to have it...weather was beautiful...I came home and got Ben and then we went...there weren't alot of kids there, but enough for Ben to have fun....we had a dunk tank for alot of people and that was pretty funny too...I dunked the CMC {by pushing the button} and when I had my back turned he got me with a water balloon, but it not only got me, it got Kim, Maryann and Jaci! so hre is the pictures to prove it! But it was fun!



Ben and I stopped and picked blackberries while we were waiting for Matt to get off work....


Then matt went to get Sam and came home with my b-day present...a Wii, Wii Fit and Wii Resort game...and after playing for a few minutes, that Wii fit is NO JOKE! So I see I will get some work out of it! So Maryann...you have GOT TO GET ONE! No question about it!!!!



Then we stripped Abby and Peyton because they got wet in the sprinkler and they decide to go back outside...Abby comes in and looks like this....


so a few minutes later, Peyton comes in and looks like this!
I guess Abby was not too happy with her blue chalk marks so she decided it was fair play to do it to Peyton! The Miller life!

Kim Note: Hope you have fun in Vegas this weekend...just ENJOY IT and go with the flow! and scope out where we are going to stay in EXACTLY 1 year!!! So start making plans!

so needless to say I will be doing some Wii fit to get my excerise in when I can't make it to the gym!

26 Aug 09 Costco Shopping

...we went today for the command picnic tomorrow...the weather was great and it was kinda fun to go shopping, especially when you are not shopping with your own money :)now all we have to do is put it all together tomorrow ...

I got my 1st real kiss from Peyton tonight and then we turned it into a game and all he would do is laugh everytime I said "give me a kiss" when he came over I gave him a big "mmmmwwwwaaaahhhhh" kiss and he just thought it was hilarious!

Kim note...start saving your money and scope out what we will do on our girls trip to Vegas next year..you have EXACTLY 1 year from tomorrow so start getting prepared...

25 Aug 09 2 More Days

...and my b-day is right around the corner! hard to believe I am going to be 39!!!! So the girls and I have decided we are gonna go to Vegas next year for my 40th since it just so happens to fall on a Friday so we will make it weekend girls getaway! So now that everyone has a heads up then none of them{that means you Kim :P} have an excuse to not have any arrangements made for family! Matt just said "you better start saving now!"....
so nothing really happening in the Miller household lately~ we got some more house stuff fixed {new CO2 detector, patched holes, and new vertical blinds}...
Peyton did take a DIVE today at Stephanie's house and she said she just KNEW something was broke, but he is tough and was good~
still having trouble with Abby pooping in the toliet, but I guess she will eventually get it~just got to keep at it! the LOVE of potty training!
gonna probably take Sam school shopping next weekend and I told her to make a list of what stuff she will need {she has already gotten a couple pair of jeans, plenty of T-shirts and evena new pair of Vans{ and she came up with the following...

1. new earrings
2. new bras
3. a few more pair of jeans

so I guess for a junior and a teenager that is not too bad! but she has a request to go to Forever 21 so I guess I have to find the closest one to take her to!

And Judy is heading to Fiji!!! Hope she has a BLAST!

23 Aug 09 Vacation Is Over...

...and back to work we go tomorrow...and I am actually looking forward to getting back into the routine of things! I always feel like I need a vacation from my vacation! Matt went to the commissary and cut the grass today and I did laundry and unpacked! I still probably have about 2-3 loads of laundry to do {just to catch up..towels and such} but it feels good to be unpacked and actually HOME! Ben and Abby both had a friend come over an play, so that was kinda nice for them!

I think we are al; ready for a routine again! Colleen is gong in for her C-Section tomorrow and hopefully they will let me in the OR with her so I can get some great pictures...we will see!

20 Augt 09 Ready for Home

so I am ready for home and routine now! I LOVED both of our vacations, but I am ready to be home and back into a routine~ the beach was very nice and realzing and the kids really enjoyed it~ we couldn't keep Ben, Abby and Peyton out of the water when we went to the beach even if their lips were purple! We also took them to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, the Tillamook Cheese Factory {which we ended with some AWESOME ice cream fro everyone}, and Fort Stevens battleground....we just kinda played each day by ear and other the the place we rented not having a back yard it was GREAT! so here are a few of my favs fromt he trip...will share more later when we get home :)

15 Aug 09 Back From Vegas :)

...so we made it back all in one piece {even with Matt's fear of flying}...we had a BLAST and we were they just the right amount of time...we discovered that Mon-Tues-Wed is like the Vegas re-coupe days :) {some things were closed on those days, mostly nightclubs but we noticed some restaurants too}...the prices were OUTRAGEOUS for EVERYTHING! Example: $7 for a bottle of water, $6-$7 for a beer, $3 for a can of Coke or chips out the vending machine and $12.50 for a BLT from the deli in the hotel! So needless to say it was a good thing we didn't gamble much :) We did have our fair share of drinks {expensive and non-expensive ones} and food and it was all good! I got sick the 1st night we were there and Matt said he thought it was form the sample platter {sandwiches} I got at the little bar in the hotel! So we did not eat there again just to be on the safe side! We did go eat in the food court at the Fashion Mall {right next door to Treasure Island} a couple of times {much cheaper and the food was good}...we also ate at Outback, Margaretaville, Japonisa {WONDERFUL Japanese food}, Nathan's hotdog, a Mexican restaurant in New York New York and a few other places as well! We walked from Treasure Island to New York New York and back twice and it is roughly 2 miles one way! So we did do ALOT of walking! We went and saw the Tigers, Lions and Dolphins at the Mirage {super KEWL!}...We hung out at the pool one day where somebody managed to steal Matt's Oakley sunglasses right from the side of the pool :( We say the Zummanity Cirque de Seouli show and it was AMAZING~ and we did some shopping...found out the cheapest souveniors were at the ABC store~ I also tried out some Bare Esentuals make out and fell in LOVE, so needless to say I invested! and I got the CUTEST sandals {even though Matt says they are ugly, he let me get them anyway}...


and we never even made it to the Sirens show which is the show put on right outside of Treasure Island! Thursday we headed down to Freemont street {the Old Strip} and that was really neat to see, but if we ever make it back I would love to see it lit up at night...and the ONLY thing I really wanted to find was the WELCOME TO LAS VEGAS sign and we never did~ couldn't even find a map that had it listed!

and my FAVORITE thing in Vegas you ask...The Bodies Exhibit and if it is ever in your area and you can be amazed by the Human Body this is an ABSOLUTE to see! It was just AMAZING!

The kids did really well at Grandma and Grandpa's house {Abby and Peyton}, but Grandma and Grandpa are wiped out! But we are SOOOOO GRATEFUL that they took time to keep our kids so we could go on a much needed Matt and Angie vacation, so THANKS GRANDMA and GRANDPA! They took them to gymnastics, the zoo and even the park! PLus they played outside on the swings, in the pool, and swing more than they could imagie on the downstairs swing! Abby LOVED the zoo and all she talked about was riding the train with Aunt Sammy, Brady Bug and Hayden! So cute to here her say "Aunt Sammy"!They did have to go buy a child proof lock for Peyton's door {like we have at home} but they found out it was adult prrof as well! and what do I do today, lock MYSELF In there trying to put Peyont down for a nap! Good thing I FINALLY got it open because I didn't have my phone and the monitor wasn't on for anybody to come let me out! I guess overall they did well for them to stay somewhere they have never stayed without mom and dad. So again, THANKS Denny and Marylee, not sure you know how much we APPRECIATE it!!! and trust us, we know FIRST hand how hard it is and that is why we are so GRATEFUL!

Sam and Ben also enjoyed staying with Grandma Karen! They got to take turn picking where to eat and Grnadma took them grocery shopping and she siad she spent $60 on food and wasn't so sure she bought any actual food :) Welcome to the Miller household Grandma Karen! She also took the out and about and they happened to go to the zoo the same day that Abby, Peyton and the rest of the MIller clan went and they didn't even run into each other! SO we also THANK YOU HUGELY Grandma Karen for watching over the other 1/2 of the Miller kids!
