so I mailed 2 huge boxes{they are called gorilla boxes} today and have 1 more to go and then I will be ready to come home! I still have a mess in my room to clean up, but I will do that when I get off from work tonight. It cost $106 to ship them both and they each weighed 50 lbs :( but it will be nice to travel lightly on the way home and I am ready to go!!!! I kept a few clothes out to workout in and a few clothes to wear around...hopefully traveling lightly will not be an issue :) my suitcase handle broke on the way over so I will be gladly throwing it away before I leave! It also went from flag condition yellow {which is what they rate how hot it is here after the calculate the dry heat, wet bulb heat and relative humidity}to black {which is the hottest} in a matter of an hour!!! I am SOOOO over the heat!!! 90 degrees even sounds good to me :) Today was the Army's birthday so they had shrimp and lobster in the DFAC for dinner, I went early and they let me in to take a few pics of the cake and stuff before they cut it....the food really wasn't anything to write home about, but it was a nice change....will be glad to get home and have a NICE, medium-rare steak on the grill!!!! I have decided that is the 1st thing I want to have for dinner after I get home!!!!
Got to talk to the kids for a few minutes this morning before work...Matt went to Burlington and got Abby & Peyton each a pair of sandals and basically just went so he could have a break...he is planning on going to Oregon next weekend for Tim's bachelor party and I think it will be good for them all to get away from the house ....so I will post a picture once I get back to my room and after I clean up a little :)
