07 Apr 09 ..Flower Child

nothing to really chat about today, except the heat is starting to slowly creep up on us....just gonna grin and bare it and realize I am just one day closer to coming home :) I forgot to mention yesterday that Ben was playing at the park with another little boy and accidently got a black eye, so that will be my picture to share tomorrow...that's what being a boy is all about...Matt said he was in bed early because his eye hurt :)

we have decided we are going to see 1 shows in Vegas....

...except for maybe this little cutie watching his Ratatouille movie from the floor and comfort of his Lion that Nana sent him for his birthday {he doesn't sleep without it:)} and his quilt that Grandma Lee made him for XMAS {and he doesn't sleep without this either :)}....

well, I am super tired, it was a 16 hour day for me {unlike for Matt it is everyday now, it is only every so often for me} and I am just wiped out...so until tomorrow g'nite :)

06 Apr 09...Groundhog Day

...everyday is Groundhog day here and it is feeling ike it more so now than before, day in and day out the SAME old thing!!!! kinda suck, wish my R&R to Qatar would hurry up and come and then I will have less that 45 days before going home :) at least now we are in the double digits for coming home :) I am trying to download all the pics Matt sent me of the kids playing outside yesterday, I guess it was the first nice day of the year...

I forgot to add that when I talked with Ben last week, during spring break, one of our conversations went like this:

Mom: "have you eaten anything today"
Ben: "No"
Mom:" Will Sam fix you something to eat?"
Ben: "No"
Mom: "Well, you an make a PB7J, right?"
Ben:" Yeah, but I don;t wnat those anymore but I can make my own soup in the microwave so it's ok"
Mom:" Good, just be careful and let it cool down before you take it out"
Ben :" yeah, I know"
Ben :" But I wish dad would make me grilled cheese and a nacho {he shows me a can of refried beans :)}"
Mom:" well just ask dad and he will make you a grilled cheese"
Ben: "I did but he said maybe later" {sure Matt has just been super busy}
Mom: "ok, well maybe mom will talk to dad and see if he will make you grilled cheese"
Ben: "Ok, bye love you talk to you later"
Mom: "Bye, love you"

so fast forward to this past Sat...Matt made them grilled cheese {all of them} and a whole loaf of bread later, look at the expression on Ben's face...PRICELESS!!! {just for a grilled cheese!}

05 Apr 09 Beautiful Day

...even though we have had tons of rain the last 3 days, today was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I actually got up and went to breakfast with Ro this monrning! Talked with Abby first before I left and before the camera could even adjust she says to Matt "she needs to come home!"...so I guess me asking her if she wanted to go somewhere when I got home was not such a good idea :) so I called back and talked to them again for a little while longer and Abby feel asleep on the sofa before it was all said and done :) I managed to clean in my room and make 6 more paper scrapbook pages for when I get home..all I will have to do is put the pictures on them! so I am trying to just do general pages so I can maybe catch up on my yearly albums :) I stil have a few pages to finish in '06 and then on to '07....I may finish one of these days :) well I went back to the gym today after dinner and spent 30 mins ont he treadmill and 30 on the stair climber, for a total of 630 calories...and my arms and waist are feeling it today, so I think the stair climber is actually working my waist :) {I hope so!}...I watched the Bucket List tonight and if you haven't seen it, you should...plus I like Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson...

I bought the kids a bunch of summer clothes at Old Navy on Mar 1st {they had a special going} and had them shipped to Matt, figured it would save him some trouble from having to buy some summer clothes...so they finally went through the box last weekend when I was talking to them and Peyton decided he needed to put a pair of his socks on and then one pair turned into two and two into three :) needless to say his siter did the same thing, but Matt didn't get a picture of her before she took hers off...but the fact that he looks just BESIDE himself with joy to have 3 pair of socks on just makes me laugh...so now this is my current screensaver on my laptop! well g'nite and until tomorrow :)

04 Apr 09 ..New Love

...found at the gym...the StairClimber, yep, that's right, I have now decided that is the new machine I am going to work on....I was sweating within 10 mins and managed to stay on it for 60 mins and burn 600 calories!!! whoo hoo...even though I didn't make it to the gym until 645 pm tonight! and then I went to another spinning class until 830 pm...missed class yesterday because the instructor was off base, so had to make up for it today :) talked with Matt and the kids today, Peyton took his diaper off and pooped all in his crib then Abby had a poop accident in her *wunnerwares* so needless to say they both got a bath this morning! matt syas Peyton is going to be a "lefty" he draws with his left hand even if you put the pen in his right hand, he will switch it to his left! how funny...nobody on either side of our families are lefties! he is gonna be the artist in the family! so I still haven't uploaded any pics from my new camera, but her is a new digi page I just finished tonight....

03 Apr 09 TIRED..

...was super tired this afternoon so after dinner I took a nap that turned into a 6 hour nap :) and I only got up because I had to pee :) we had another rainy day today and the weather was pretty chilly, never know I was in the desert! but I did play with my little camera today and I LOVE it...can't wait to get my litte carrying case :) I haven't upload the pics yet, so I will have to share those this weekend with you :) I got the kids Easter stuff inthe mail and THANKS again Sistah for sending me all the Easter stuff to STUFF them some little bags and buckets:) and hopefully Matt will take some pics and I can share them here :) well, I am back to sleep at 0100 on Sat 04 Apr 09 :) here is a digi page to share today that I did :)

02 Apr 09 New Toy

..well my BIG Camera {that I go NOWHERE without} is starting to have seen better days :) the flash is now permanently stuck UP, the manual mode is not working on one of the settings and the lens is a little on the gritty side {not sure WHY that is..bwahahahah}...so I talked it over with Matt and we decided that I should get a small camera to get me through until I come home and then I can get this.....


so for now, THIS is my new toy :) the battery is charging and it is dark, so I will have to play with it tomorrow or this weekend :)



and I also ordered this...Matt LOVES it becuase it is PINK!!! {NOT} but I am sure Sam will LOVE it {NOT, she hates PINK more than Matt}


ok, need to go and chat with Ben again today :) nite all :)

02 Apr 09 FOBTY....

so at SSD today....it is all about writing down your list of 5 shows that you have seen every episode of or 5 that youwould LIKE to see every episode of...

1. Spongebob {seen them all!!!!}
2. Jimmy Neutron {seen them all}
3. Sopranos {would like to see them ALL}
4. Grey's Anatomy {would like to see them ALL...working on that while I am here in Kuwait, they have them that you can rent for free at the MWR tent}
5. CSI Las Vegas {have seen the majority of them, but not all!}
